While she always loved the water and being outside, she lacked self-confidence—particularly among her middle school peers. Sailing camp provided her with a boost of self-actualization. She thrived in an environment that taught her practical skills, self-reliance, and teamwork. 

She found like-minded kids, friendly and attentive counselors; and a real taste for adventure. After mastering the sails, she’s most proud of steering the boat across the bay herself. She has gained confidence and social ease, and she’s passionate about advancing her sailing skills. We love it!"
