Another year, another Harlem Globetrotters show in Nashville, TN!
We have seen the Harlem Globetrotters several years in a row now and they never disappoint! We love that they play at Bridgestone Arena. Bridgestone Arena has their own parking garage connected directly to their building. We were able to park in their garage a couple of years ago, but they made changes to that last year. You had to be a pass holder to the garage in order to park there. Luckily we found a parking garage right outside of Bridgestone and we were able to find a great spot there. It was only a quick seven minute walk!
We got to our seats and my husband went to grab our food for the show. I always recommend grabbing food before the show because the lines are typically pretty short and you are able to get your food and drinks within a few minutes. We always get the giant pretzels with nacho cheese – it is just the best snack for every occasion!
We also decided to head to the merchandise section before the show started to avoid the super long lines afterward. That was definitely a good idea because if you try to go during half-time or after the show is over, you will be with a million other people doing the same thing.

Once the game actually starts, you are introduced to the DJ and the host as well as the coaches and players from the Globetrotters as well as their opponents, The Washington Generals (we love a good underdog around here).
The trick shots and “smack talk” throughout the game are amazing and incredibly funny! The audience is always included in their show and some people are lucky enough to be pulled onto the floor and participate with the players. They always keep my kids engaged and laughing – this is why we bring them back every year.

At the end of the show, they put time aside for autographs from the players. This is one of my kids’ favorite time during the show. They do not charge for this portion of the show. Real-life experiences are always a win in our household. I cannot wait to go back again next year!
