One of the things they enjoyed was eating out together. They spent as much time together as possible and enjoyed playing with Marie’s two kittens. They also watched movies together. This children’s picture book highlights the joy of friendship and how true friendship lasts a lifetime. What does friendship mean to you, and how do you keep your friends close? This positive and encouraging book is written on a child’s level and encourages lifelong friendships. Marie and LeeLee had a great time growing up together.

Lisa stated that the purpose of this book is to let children know they are loved no matter what. We are all beautiful inside, and no one else can be us. The author is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who incorporates strategies to stimulate language development and engage children with this book. Laura Watson does a masterful job of illustrating this story. I highly recommend this book to all young readers. As a parent, you play a vital role in encouraging your child to make friends and be a good friend to others.
