I have two children who attend the Superstar Reading Camp in Denver- they gain a tremendous amount self confidence and reading intervention in the 5 weeks of camp. The teachers are phenomenal- not only are they experts in Orton Gillingham but also get the kids excited about coming to camp and having fun. Both my children have made friends at the camp and continue to look forward to it every year. I feel that they gain at least 1/2 a school year in literacy advancement by the end of camp. The report at the end of camp is a great document to give teachers in the fall at the start of school. Would recommend to any parent who has a child struggling with reading.
