Give Back during Chicago’s 14th Annual Santa Hustle 5K and Kids’ Dash
The charity beneficiary is Cal’s Angels, a pediatric cancer foundation. Join the holiday fun on Saturday, December 3 at Soldier Field.
Registration is now open for the Santa Hustle Chicago 5K and Kids’ Dash on Saturday, December 3. This 14th annual race will take place at Soldier Field, 1410 Special Olympics Drive. The Kids’ Dash kicks off at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K begins at 9 a.m. A portion of the race proceeds will benefit charity partner Cal’s Angels, whose mission is to grant wishes, raise awareness, and fund research to help children fighting cancer.
“The holiday season is the perfect time to give back to your community, and Santa Hustle is proud to be partnering with a charity that supports this - through offering programs for children struggling with pediatric cancer,” said SHRS race founder Aaron Del Mar. “Your participation in the Santa Hustle Chicago will add to the contribution we can offer to this invaluable organization.”
Cookie and candy stations, along with holiday music and cheer, will abound along the Santa Hustle and Kids Dash course – and immediately following the race, participants can jingle all the way to an awards ceremony! Thousands of people participate in the Santa Hustle across the country each year, and now the race is also offered virtually!
Participants in both races will receive a Santa Hustle beanie, cozy hoodie, and a finisher medal. Participants can also purchase a Mrs. Claus package, a full Santa suit or a Santa shirt during registration.
Volunteers are needed! Santa needs helpers to distribute packets, hand out snacks and check gear during the event. All volunteers receive an elf shirt, elf hat, food and drink - and Santa’s eternal gratitude.
