    Baketivity Kit

Want an easy and fun way to spend time with your children or grandchildren? Baketivity is a super cute subscription box service that brings kids a monthly baking adventure. This month, Baketivity sent me a box to try. The fun activity includes all the ingredients needed to bake a round cookie cake.

Each ingredient is packaged separately in little plastic bags, sealed for freshness. There is a well-done recipe booklet that gives written instructions with pictures that make it easy to understand. For the instructions involving use of the microwave or oven, there is a warning symbol that tells the child to get an adult to help.

    Box Ingredients

The instructions were very easy to follow and it's the type of recipe that you really can't mess up.

    Mix Dry Ingredients
    Whisk together dry ingredients

    Wet Ingredients

Then, you bake the cookie in oven: 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. It must cool about an hour before you need to add the decorative icing.

When it's time to decorate, you melt the candy melts in the microwave. Then spread the blue icing on the cookie in a circle shape. When that is set, melt the green candy melts in the microwave.

Add the green candy melts icing into the pastry bag that's provided. Then, the child can create a picture of the globe and fill in the shapes with green icing. It may be primitive, but it's fun to try and draw the map.

After the icing sets, you may cut a slice and enjoy! What a fun activity for kids! They'll love getting all the accessories, including a sticker. The kit also comes with a few recipe cards for kids to try with their parents.

    Yum!

The box can be recycled, which is good. The adorable chef's apron and chef's hat will be able to be used anytime you want to bake with your child or grandchild. They'll love feeling like a little chef!

Order a box for your child or grandchild! If you subscribe HERE you will receive a coupon for 18% off the price.
