From a logistics standpoint, they're super close to denver, their prices are better than many I've looked up, and they have several trip options. They offer great group discounts, too! What really sets them apart is their people- every single person I've encountered here is accommodating, friendly, and generally hilarious and fun to be around. Their guides really know what they're doing, and make first-timers feel comfortable. I've done several trips with these guys, and anyone I've taken has absolutely loved it. You surely won't be disappointed.

Andrew was our guide and I had three young kids and they had a blast. He did an amazing job. I have three older kids that went on the intermediate, and they had an absolutely incredible time. Well worth the money!!!! Alan the owner is very accommodating. He allowed us to wait on our older kids while watching a movie. Great guy!!!

The entire team at Liquid Descent made our quick visit to Colorado so enjoyable. The moment we arrived, it was nothing but fun! But don't be fooled, these guys take safety seriously. All the gear is provided and they run through everything with you in advance. Bring your bathing suit, towels and change of clothes. We did the half day intermediate (2 adults 2 teens) during peak time and we were not disappointed! A great mix of class 2-5 rapids. Our guide Jordan was super nice and kept us busy. Shout out to Peter for making our brief adventure so enjoyable from start to finish. Look no further to other companies in Idaho Springs, this company is highly recommended.
First Time Fun!

We rafted for our first time yesterday and couldn't have been happier with our choice to go with Liquid Descent! We chose the intermediate ride and it was perfect. We had Kenny and Ben as guides (both of which deserve raises and all the white water praises!) The staff was professional and made sure safety was the number one priority. The staff was also FUN. We laughed the whole time we were on the river. We will never raft with any other company and can't wait to get out on the river again with Liquid Descent.
